Easter Plush!! New Vintage Club Release!! Mini Birthday Haul!!

So sorry I didn't post last month. I meant to but then I got consumed with finals for my online courses and preparing for the new semester as it just started and the last one ended the week before, it was meant to be immediate like that as the online version of my MBA is a fast track. I also got caught up in work as leading up to and after the Kentucky Derby is really busy due to all the visitors and clients coming to view horses. On a more exciting note, a colt I helped raise when I first started at my job after I finished my undergrad won the Derby!!!! I was so happy I was crying and my eldest brother decided to watch and asked me if "my horse" won and sent a congrats and later my aunt did too as she went to a viewing party at one of the local tracks back home. I may share a collage and some stuff on that later as also I did a mini interview for a classmate for her place of work. 

Back to model horses and collecting, let's look at the Easter/spring plush for this year.

Meet Candy!!

Little Candy is this year's Easter/spring plush and is made to represent chocolate bunnies for Easter celebration (I haven't had one in years and the good ones sell fast nor do I find many in stock where I'm at for some reason). She has an embroidered chocolate bunny on her one side and finished with a little ribbon tied in a bow like some have though some it's just part of the mold but really expensive high end ones have the actual ribbon tied on. I did order her as she is cute, though her packaging labelled her as "Easter" when I opened her with the rest of my order.

The second vintage club release has been revealed!!

Meet El Dorado!!

El Dorado is teh deco release for the club this year and is an even split between gold florentine vintage style appaloosa coat and copenhagen vintage appaloosa coat on the vintage Semi-Vintage Mustang mold.
My mom is apart of the vintage club and received hers but she has yet to tell me which one she got, I like both so it doesn't matter which one we got for our shared collection but I need an update for my collection file, I use google sheets for that to keep track what we have to avoid duplicates of older models with variations and just good to keep track overall.

When I went hope for a week in March, it happened to be the week of my birthday so I spent it there and got my presents (I didn't bring them back right away due to me flying but my folks brought the stuff down later when they came down so my dad could change my oil). So here is what I got.

I sort of ordered Gambit while I was home at least in terms of reserving one for pick up which he came a little bit later once where I ordered form got their shipment in stock. The Flicka set I got from an antique store I sometimes go to when I'm home and it was one a few items form that movie and items released by Breyer I needed. Though I will say it was sadly one of very few Breyers I found there, there used to be a lot more along with Peter Stone as one vendor had always carried and sold them but I think they are not there anymore or didn't get much anymore, I didn't ask while I was there, I should've. Maybe I'll see how i is when I go home for Christmas, and while I was home I discovered another store closed at the end of last year and sadly I missed that as I didn't know they had social media pages, but there's another I frequent that's moving to a bigger and better location I want to see when I'm home again too.

This is what my parents got me, the funny thing was I was going to get the Build-A-Bear at a later time but luckily I don't have to worry about that same with the Starbucks year of the horse items. Not model related but is horse related.

I got these two during Copper Foxes surprise Valentines day sale and surprisingly these two were decently priced and still available when I was able to pop on, so I got them as an early birthday present for myself. The grey Totilas is the surprise model from last year I named Orpheus after a 1950s film. The wedgewood pinto Cleveland bay is the deco surprise form Breyerfest 2022 Prost, I named him Spatzi, an Austrian term of endearment I learned form the game Nancy Drew: The Haunted Carousel.

These actually aren't from my birthday, they are from last Christmas and I didn't get picks of them till I went home back in March and decided to post them here so I can cover my Christmas haul like I meant to.

Winter & Holiday Exclusive Models!!

So sorry this took so long, I got caught in the season changes at work and my first semester of online courses to MBA ended, second semester just started. Plus there was the holiday in-between where I just wanted to use it to not think of anything and just work on other stuff, I kinda didn't/couldn't and slightly didn't want to post on here till now. Week before Christmas I was also hit with a doozy of getting a bad cold ad having car troubles and had to get a rental and work the whole week leading up to me going home for the holidays. I did get a new laptop though and will start using it for this soon while my old laptop is mostly used for school work to a point, I also wanted time to get my new laptop set up the way I wanted it and navigate the new features it has compared to the old model I have. So without further ado, here are the new holiday models for this year, save for the traditional scale as I already covered him earlier this year.

Meet Hyperion!!!

Every year Breyer does a deco classic scale unicorn usually available in the fall leading up to the holidays. Hyperion is a metallic pink with a hint of silver on the classic/freedom scale Mandrake/Morgan Stallion mold with an added horn. He is really nice and I got him for my mom as she likes unicorns the most and her fav color is pink and for my parents weddings the colors were pink with silver and white. 

Meet Sylvan!!

Sylvan is the classic scale winter deco for this year. Sylvan's markings show deer, foxes, and other wildlife in a winter setting with a silver grey top/main coat color. As usual I did get him as I have gotten all the others, maybe one day when I can have a better display I can make a nice big winter display for them all.

Meet the 75th Anniversary Family!!

The vintage Proud Arabian Family is finally being utilized as a whole set!! The stallion on the Proud Arabian Stallion mold appears to be a bay pinto with a commemorative ribbon, the mare on the Proud Arabian Mare appears to be a palomino appaloosa and their foal on the Proud Arabian Foal appears to be a buckskin/dun appaloosa, possible pintaloosa. I did get these as I thought they were nice and I've been really liking the family sets lately.

Meet Cuddles!!

Cuddles is the yearly pony for Christmas as Breyer always does on every year. She is a chestnut pinto on the vintage but beloved Misty mold. Her blanket is a light blue/teal with snowflakes, candy canes, mistletoe, presents, gingerbread men, holly, and I believe boughs of evergreen? She is very cute, I haven't purchased her yet, but I may soon as she is still available.

Meet Merry Dancer!!

This year's Santa surprise/Christmas day type  deco model is on the Strapless mold. Earlier this year there were some leaks online from someone smuggling possible samples or official models from the factory they are made, the first two were Colby and Brooks form the TSC exclusive lineup and then later a pink deco pinto appeared and was speculated to be this release. Naturally I fell in love with the pink one first and was hoping to pull that one for my mom, but of course it's the luck of the draw and also part of me always hopes to pull a coal as well. The other colors are a minty green and a purple. I ended up pulling a purple, I later wanted to buy a second one but didn't want to risk getting a dupe and having to deal with trading at the moment. Oh well, maybe one year I'll get lucky and get a coal and I'll just have to get the pink one second hand.

Meet Short & Sweet Blind Bags!!

This year's winter deco stablemate blind bags are the Short & Sweet set! They are mini's of the candy striped Zebras from 2019, a mini coal was even included!! I wanted to get them and when they were launched I guess I took too long getting two and adding other stuff that they sold out by the time I went to check out. Past couple of years they didn't sell out and seemed to have extra stock so I was surprised these went so fast. Oh well, I'll just have to get the gold and red I wanted second hand and see if I can get lucky and get an affordable coal at some point. 

Meet Killington & mini Killington!!

This year's silver filigree release for winter is Killington and his mini me both on the vintage, well for the traditional scale one, Fighting Stallion mold. These are usually offered as a lottery release, but since last year they have just been releasing them till stock runs out instead which I guess is fine but I kind of miss the fun of the lottery but there are plenty of other lotteries throughout the year anyway. I did get these two and surprisingly they didn't sell out but at least I got them.

I also received the last of my club models, sadly I got the chestnut version of Winnifred the new molly mule for the Premier club, but at least I really like the last two releases of the Stablemate's club and my Juriaan arrived which I will try to share later. October Collector Club Newsletter is Here!! Maple Leaves & Hoofbeats Event Models Revealed!!!

 The October Collector Club newsletter is finally here!!! Let's take a look inside.

It is time renew and/or join clubs for next year. With this comes the reveal of club exclusive models, especially for the deluxe club and spring web special release.

Meet Lavinia!!

Lavinia will be a Collector Club exclusive model for next year and will more than likely be the spring web special just like Maddox was for this year.She appears to be a grey pinto on the Rhiannon/Gypsy Vanner mare mold. I really like her, I am really looking forward to her official release and snagging her once she's available for purchase.

Meet Kiana!!

Kiana is the bonus stablemate for the Deluxe Collector Club next year. She will be a 50/50 split of matte and gloss finish. She appears to be on the new Arabian mare mold that may be a mini of a vintage traditional scale mold. She has a rich bay coat. I'm hoping for the glossy, she is also featured on the pin that she also comes with.

Meet Nick!!

He is the Christmas plushy for this year. He's kinda cute, but doesn't really do it for me so he's not one I would desperately want or need for my collection. I will also be covering the other models in another post a little later.

Monthly Giveaway!!

This month's giveaway is a Halloween lot that contains Maelstrom, Ratsputin, and a full of series 3 & & of the Spooky Surprise Stablemates. Again I am going to skip it as I have most of those already and want to focus on one's I don't have yet.

Sneak Peak!!

The sneak peak appears to be a shoulder or hindquarters of a model that is pitch black with a glossy finish. I am guessing it will be the "coal" for the Santa's Surprise Models for this year which I cannot wait to see!!

The models for the Maple Leaves and Hoofbeats event this weekend have been reveled!! Let's take a look, I will be going more in depth of them in another post as I want to wait for in hand photos.

Looks like an exciting lineup!! Can't wait to see the other models such as the center piece model to be revealed!!

More Reveals for Breyerfest 2025!! Tannenbaum Has Arrived!!

This reveal came later in the day than usual to where I thought there wasn't going to be one for the day which would be slightly odd as there wasn't one the day before it. I couldn't see Breyer only doing 3 for one week and leaving it till Friday before the weekend. Anyways, they are here and let's take a look.

Breyer talks about how throughout the 80s they had the "Signing Parties" where they'd travel to various retailers across the country. You had to sign up to attend these vents, at them you'd get a meal, ask questions, and talk with company executives. These helped paved the way for other events hosted by Breyer. The first Breyerfest was in 1990, and of course hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park, where around 1,000 people attended. The event was to celebrate Breyer's 40th anniversary and Dr. Peaches was chosen as the celebration horse. There you could have meet and greets with guest horses, meet artists and speakers, there was a benefit raffle, seminars, and a live auction.

Over the 35 years of the events course, there are now special runs and limited edition/store special models, live equestrian demonstrations, workshops, seminars, activities in Celebration Park, model horse shows (4 of them), and the Celebration of Horses show. The Celebration Horse model used to be called the dinner raffle model as you could get it while attending the dinner, usually BBQ from what i've been told by older collectors who attended the first Breyerfests, also you could meet executives and get models signed there too. One I met remembers Peter Stone when he worked for Breyer and he would sometimes let you get a sneak peak of new models and other exclusive ones for the event. I love meeting with these older hobbyists and getting stories like this form them, wish I could've been born sooner to attend the start of Breyerfest. Also Dr. Peaches retired from three day eventing the same year he was the Celebration Horse, that partially may have been why he was chosen. All this reminiscing has lead Breyer to introducing and naming the next release from this history.

It's the mare & foal set!!

Meet "Good Times & Great Friends"!!

Good Times is on the Cantering Mustang Mare/Tigerlilly mold and Great Friends is on the Mustang Foal/Firestorm mold. Good Times is in a deliciously rich dappled bay with a star and three socks, while Great Friends is a very light chestnut with a star, a snip, and a sock and both are finished with a high gloss finish. So far quantities and prices have still yet to be announced along with the event exclusive models page. I'll make a separate post if and when those get released. 

Anyways, I wasn't sure if they were going to do a mare & foal set this year. Usually most to almost all of the time they do but there have been times where they do not. Though I figured if they did it was more than likely going to be these two as they are the newest mare & foal pairing. When I first saw the foal I thought he was a palomino till I read the blog post, he is very light and I know they can be this light, especially in breeds like Haflingers and Belgians which are only chestnut in color, especially pale flaxen chestnut. So I guess this could mean these two could be paired with Bolero from last year as the mare & foal are meant to go with him, or even go with the bay Shelby or pinto flaxen chestnut Shelby from last year. Two bays can make chestnut if the gene that makes black, which is represented by "E", isn't passed down as chestnut is "e/e" and regardless of agouti ("A") is passed down or not as the result is red regardless. Real life example is Secretariat's two parents were bay, dark bay to be exact and he came out fiery red. Ever since I got these two, especially the mare in hand from last year's Premier Club, the more I fell in love with her and cannot wait for more releases on her. I will note I feel this releases mare's name is a little too close to the other special runs name, that being Let the Good Times Roll, like she could've had a long name like the rest. I suggest "Here For a Good Time" and the foal's "With Great Friends", but that's just me I guess. I do plan on getting them and I now think they are the most gorgeous releases so far.

Last but not least in Tannenbaum. She ended up being delayed and came day late due to the winter storm that came though earlier in the week. She was originally due to arrive Monday but came Tuesday, at least it was by a day and she's here safe now so that's all that matters. So let's see what variation I have received!!

I at least got my favorite, the red!! I was also slightly hoping to get a coal but oh well, maybe next time. I love this metallic red, almost like camdy apple red for muscle cars, kinda like my dad's Camaro. I wish my deco Speos was this shade vs the deep maroonish red, then I'd be more inclined to keep him and not use him with my gold pollock in hopes of trading for the Sunny deco on the SJW mold. Anyways She is slight more orangey on the one side due to their being more of the gold undertone than the red but that's ok, you may not look at that side very much anyways. She's got nice gold eyes to match!! I am very happy with her to say the least.

New Blind Bag Stablemates for Winter and Other New Holiday Horses!!

 Sorry for the very long delay on this. Been busy with work and it's drained me as we went from the November sale straight into sales prep for the January sale and the holidays were my only time to catch up.

First models:

I ordered Zulu & Hot Cocoa to come with the new winter blind bags which were cookie themed. There were four varieties and I got lucky I got two different ones. I got the iced gingerbread and chocolate crinkle cookie ones, the other two were the jam filled cookie and peppermint bark, the jam one was a translucent decorator in red with a white over coat for the powdered sugar. Crinkle cookie was my fav so I'm really happy I got him, plus managed to get some of the actual cookies form a local bakery irl.

Second:

As Breyer kept having sales and deals on shipping the more I utilized it over the weeks plus using the club discount. I got the Freya & Annika set and Jingle, who actually jingles when shaken!! My Freya & Annika are a bit on the darker side, especially Freya on her one side vs the other but oh well I still like them.

Third:

Awhile ago I finally got Highlander form a local dealer as they still had some and heavily discounted cause they were no longer selling so I snagged one as I totally meant to get him sooner. I love his pearly/metallic coat. I think he's supposed to be champagne or pearl rather than buckskin, but I'm gonna call him buckskin to be safe as I can't remember what Breyer said he was supposed to be.

Fourth:

Here's is the model related stuff I got for Christmas plus Courcheval who arrived two days before Christmas. I also got other stuff for Christmas, but it's not model related so it won't go in here, I just quickly mentioned it in my insta post. Finally got some WIA's for the first time in a couple of years, a bit overdue for me. Plus a 40th anniversary gen 1 Butterscotch My Little Pony. Quick note is Courcheval was original supposed to be the winter lottery but they changed it to be for anyone in the club before the public. Either way he's gorgeous and glad I was able to get him. Sad there's no Winterfest this year but oh well if it didn't do well then there's no need for a company to continue something that doesn't make them money.

Fifth:

Finally found a new in box Ruffian traditional model for a decent price to finally join my collection, especially racehorse/thoroughbred collection plus she came in time for when I bought the new Ruffian t-shirts that are in the gift shop at work and took full advantage of my employee discount on them and my holiday shopping so I got a great deal on them. The one with the wreath says "Ruffian Home Again" and the other says "Ruffian Queen of the Track". Now my Ruffian collection can start to grow. Next year is her 50th of her Triple Tiara win, and while yes 50 years since her death later after that, but she still had a remarkable life and career in that short time that is still remembered and revered 50 years later. And like her Uncle "Big Red", aka Secretariat, a lot of her records still stand today.

Lastly:

The Santa Surprise this year is Tannenbaum, German for Christmas Tree, on the fell pony mold. She is in four different colors, the coal being the rare as always and limited to 24 pieces, the rest which are red, blue, and green make up the remainder of the reported 3,000 run. I got one and as always am hoping for the coal or red, the blue is ok, and green doesn't always do it for me when Breyer does that color. This shade of green isn't going it for me vs the green for the blind bag stablemates last year, If I get it I may just keep it for now and trade later.

Quick pin update, these are my newest ones and thank god the Blue Zeus one was made available to everyone.

There's also been leaks of the 2025 releases, save for mid-years that will come later. Dealers aren't supposed to reveal nor take preorders till the start of the new year, but since the photos were leaked I'd like top cover them before that and therefore will talk about them in another post. Plus more to come via club models for the remainder of the year and ones for next year.

September Newsletter, Christmas/Holiday Specials, Newest Release of Wild Animal Series!!

In the September Collector Club Newsletter it covered the arrival of the long awaited and desired Deluxe Collector Club bonus stablemate Horatio, that Antonia was released, the Halloween Collection is still available while supplies last, the latest article is about an Introduction to Airbrushing, this month's giveaway was 2 copies of Calista, and of course the sneak peak!! Lately I haven't entered the giveaways as they are mostly model I already have or are better off waiting to get, Calista being part of the latter. Despite that let's take a look at the sneak peak.

I was thinking web special when I first saw this, maybe Wild Animal Series Release, but since then, especially since I am behind on covering stuff, I'm pretty sure this sneak peak has been revealed. Which I will use to transition into the next topic, Christmas/Holiday Web Specials/Seasonal Offerings.

With that sneak peak, I'm pretty sure it's of Hot Cocoa.

Every year for the past few years or so now, Breyer has made special horses that come with a box and blanket as part of "A pony for Christmas" gift set. So far I think this is the best one yet, she is so cute and pretty, but also we gotta remember I am a sucker for silver dilutes so that could be part of it. She's a silver bay appaloosa with a snowflake blanket, but some have described her as having mini marshmallow markings, on the Sport Horse version of the Astrid/Fjord Mare mold. Either way you describe her appaloosa markings it works as she is for winter.

Next, meet Cinders of the Holiday Pajama Set!!

Cinders is on the Haflinger mold and done in a black tobiano pinto coat. He has a red halter with a buffalo check blanket to match his human companions buffalo check pj's. Plus they come with a teddy bear that is a jumbo teddy for the doll and he has a little red bow tie to match the. He is very cute, he is available online and in person, in fact the one store I went to see if they had Calista I saw they had this set ion and the store owner told me she was sent those instead of Calista and that's apparently the second time thats happened as the same thing happened with their order for Picante. So I guess Breyer or their warehouse just hates certain sellers, I think I may sadly have to only go there for regular runs and not expect any limited editions even though they are supposed to have them. But since they got this set in I may pick it up in person to save on shipping costs and online taxes and save for other stuff I can only order online and need to worry about.

Next is Freya & Annika Mare, Foal, & Ornament set!

Like years past, Breyer tries to do a special mare & foal set. This year they are adding a bonus ornament into the set and this one has a coat to match the mare Freya. Freya is done on the Marabella/Morgan Mare mold in a sooty buckskin overo pinto coat, her foal Annika is done on the Amber mold and in an even sootier buckskin overo coat compared to her dam. The ornament that is a mini twin of Freya is done on the foal ornament mold and I do not believe it has had any recent releases on it, it's probably been a decade or so since its last use. They all come in a nice satin/faux satin bag with festive print. I really love both, I especially love the mare Freya's coloration, I am a sucker for the sooty dilutes, but when it comes to sooty buckskins, Freya's coloration is the shade I like best. The foal is still nice and am surprised they made both sooty buckskin pintos, I think this is the most alike mare and foal set they've done. Usually they've done it where mare and foal are different colors and coat patterns as usual near identical are solid coated with same coat colors and similar markings. While Freya may have more white than her filly, Annika is still a mini me of her dam with a bald face and one white leg with the sooty cream dilute. I want this set, especially so I can add more to my Breyer ornament collection.

Third is Jingle!!

This year's Christmas/Holiday plush is Jingle! He is a white horse with an elf costume, little jingle bell on hat included. He also has a red collar and red hooves with the Breyer logo embroidered on the bottom of one. This little guy is very cute and may have to add him to my plushy collection.

Fourth is Nor'easter!!

Nor'easter is this year's winter classic scale deco model. He is done on the American Quarter Horse Stallion mold and done in a two tone metallic teal and pearly white coat with swirls and silver hooves. He even has a little snowflake for a star on his forehead. I really love him, he is very pretty plus he is one one of my favorite classic scale molds. His name comes from a name of a type of storm but this particular storm isn't really associated with winter, usually blizzards are the only well known storms in winter. Nor'easter is usually a name that is used interchangeably with tornados/cyclones. Usually they are a type of storm that happens the north eastern parts of the United States as it usually refers to storms coming off the western North Atlantic Ocean near Massachusetts and North Carolina. Oh well, he definitely has a swirly storm on him.

Lastly is Mangoky!!

The newest release of the Wild Animal Series is here!! Mangoky is based off the ring-tailed lemurs of Madagascar! Mangoky is the name of the river that runs through the lemur's homeland. This Mangoky is done on the Valegro mold and sports the colors of the lemurs which is a chalky base coat with a rich rose grey like color with a face mask and ringed tail, just like the lemurs!! I of course entered for him as I really like him and am hoping to continue the series I have most of the past releases, think I am missing at least two past releases as I sadly did not get chosen for them. Hoping I get chosen for this one as I haven't been chosen for some of the other releases prior to this guy. Mangoky is limited to 750 pieces and will cost $185.00 without shipping and taxes along will have his name, series, and year printed on his belly.

There's more seasonal items offered such as new blankets (both throw and model blankets, pillows, hats, pj sets, pins, and more, but I feel those deserve a separate post before this one gets too long. So with that being said, this is it for this post. Until the next one, see y'all later!!

Second Special Run Reveal & 2024 Releases Revealed!!

 I know I said I was gonna wait, but since the new year releases were revealed the following day, I decided to make one big post discussing my thoughts and wait till Tuesday to do the next Breyerfest reveals.

So without further ado, meet "Miss Independent"!!

              

According to the blog, she is named after the "OG American Idol winner's breakout hit song." I somewhat recognized the name from Kelly Clarkson as I am a bit of a fan of her music. Though I did have to look it up to see what Breyer fully meant and found that Kelly Clarkson was the first ever winner of American Idol back in 2002. I did not know that as I don't really watch American Idol, the closest I got to it was the mini game in the special features of Shrek 2. Anyways, this girl is done on the mare version of the True North/Cantering Warmblood mold by Morgen Kilbourn. She is also done in an eye-catching Dunalino coat color. 

I absolutely love this girl! I am a sucker for dilutes like this. So because of that I will definitely putting her more at the top of my list of models/special runs I have to get at Breyerfest this year. Also this was a mold I predicted that would be used for this year, and so far I have guessed three correctly, which so far is pretty good for me actually. I know this is the 35th Breyerfest anniversary and form my reading, the traditional gemstone used for this year is Emerald, though yellow diamond, coral, and jade are also accepted sometimes too. Funnily enough, emeralds is also accepted for 20th anniversary too. 2009 was the 20th for Breyerfest and that was birthday bash themed, so maybe they'll roll with emerald for this year, I also read that 20th can also sometimes be accepted for silver jubilee but is mostly done and accepted on the 25th anniversary as that is the true silver jubilee year, which Breyer has already done. 

So with all that being said, could we expect at least one emerald decorator to celebrate? Perhaps a surprise deco variation, or instead a classic scale (not looking too much like the classic decorator from 2016 though). Or could we expect them to do one of the other possible and not so popular alternatives like coral, jade (close enough to emerald but Breyer has done similar with it in the past, think running stallion jade Chinese Art Deco), or the very uncommon yellow diamond. If they do yellow diamond variations I will hunt all them down as yellow is my fav color, though I may do the same with the other possible choices is I like them enough. That is if they do the variations like that this year or decide to wait to do something until the 40th or 45th, doubt they'd wait as long as the 50th anniversary.

Here they are!! Quite a bit to expect to come out very soon. So far most of these are reserved for preorder, which usually occurs this time of year as the new year releases are usually revealed around this time of year anyway. I have done some of my own preorders so far. The only thing I've heard maybe revealed in release/reveal is the flagship model which usually comes out in the spring. Triple Mountain said they are awaiting word on it before they offer it up for preorders, though their Norwich preorders are back up for round 2 as they refunded the previous ones as there was a delay in the release and they felt it was only fair to do a do over once they know he'll arrive. So I guess they have now received the word and it seem she will more Ethan likely come with some of the new releases.

So far we finally have a regular run release on the Constantia/Standardbred Mare mold. According to sources, her name is Atlanta and is a champion filly. Sh his a dark bay, near black filly in color, coloration and markings somewhat reminiscent of the ill-fated Thoroughbred filly Ruffian, at least that I sin my opinion and observation. I am excited for this release as she will be the second female to represent harness racing, the other being Via Lattea the Italian Trotter who was a store special at Breyerfest last year. In the past, most harness racing horses released have been male, either stallion or gelding an don the vintage pacer mold. She is a nice fresh new face to represent the sport in the model world.

Cossaco is the first regular run and portrait model on the new Anamar/Amazigh Stallion/Berber Stallion mold. According to sources he is a Lusitano. He is very gorgeous and will have to get him at some point as I really love that coloration on the mold so far. A tiny bit disappointed its not a portrait model of a Berber horse like the mold is based after, but hopefully we will get one in the future. I am also still awaiting of a rerelease of Alborozo on this mold (a girl can only dream right?).

Second regular release on the Georg mold, but the first portrait release on said mold is Officer Legend!! He is the second Kentucky Horse Park Police Horse to receive a portrait Breyer model, first time was Officer Oliver the celebration horse for Breyerfest 2019. Though at least this tike it will be a slightly easier to obtain model, though I do have some duplicate Olivers for sale on my ebay if anyone is interested. Back to Legend, he looks really nice and will need to get so my Oliver has a friend and familiar face amongst my shelves. Hopefully they do other police horses form the horse park in the future and over all. the only other police horse outside of Oliver that I have is Trooper from around 2012.

The first regular run release on the Nikolaus/German Riding Pony mold is a pony of the americas release. This one is the first for that breed in awhile. Traditionally, Ponies of the Americas are released on the vintage Pony of the Americas mold. I guess this is a nice fresh new start for the breed as it has been awhile. Hopefully at some other time we can get another German Riding Pony on the mold as we have the one, Flash was used for the other German Riding Pony guest horse back in 2022 for Breyerfest. I think this particular release look alright, may hold off on getting him though so I can get other releases I really want.

Next up Neptune the unicorn!! This guy is at the top of my list for must gets to get out of this years new releases. I have been waiting forever for a unicorn release on the Espirt mold. If you couldn't tell by my blog banner, the Espirt mold is my favorite mold and am trying to conga every model on the mold if I can. The name Neptune is not only fitting because of his coloration, but back when Breyer did the Greek God Special Run Series, Esprit was chosen to represent the Greek God Poseidon. Neptune and Poseidon are pretty much the same mythological God, its just Neptune is the Roman version as the Romans took the Greek Gods and redid them for their own needs. Back to the model Neptune, I love the color shift metallic coloration as it is a nice change form the other unicorns and it has been awhile since we had a new traditional unicorn as we get most of them as web specials. Overall, he has been preordered right away.

The next deco classic models are elemental inspired. Theres fire, water, metal, earth, and water. They look really nice, according to Breyer they will ship randomly, at least form them. So you don't get to choose your favorite, Triple Mountain had it in their preorders where you could choose. Some of which have already sold out. I do like these guys, but so far they aren't quite a must get for me. So I'll hold off for now. Like I said earlier, there are others I'm trying to get first.

Hope & Love classic deco unicorn mare & foal set. I am assuming this is for charity like the other "Hope" releases from the past couple of years. At first I thought it was just the mare and most photos, including Breyer's site at first, only showed her, and then more were release show casing this release as a mare and foal set which is nice. I like them as they look to be new molds. I don't quite know if I'll get them right away quite yet. I am somewhat wishing they had done normal coloration, like make them regular Arabians first and then do a deco on them. But that could all change once I see them unperson/in hand photos of them. Guess we'll just have to wait and see, may take a couple of months, I'll let y'all know.

Apres Ski, glad to see the Big Ben mold have a release again. Though when he was first revealed I at first thought they had done a Christmas horse release on this mold already and thought they did it before the halloween horse Cryptic. I decided to consult "Identify Your Breyer" to be sure and found I was mistaken, it was only the halloween horse released as a holiday horse on this mold. So it's really good he finally gets a Christmas release finally as he is technically now vintage and that make it even more surprising he was chosen for this year as lately Breyer has been liking to use newer molds for the holiday horses. may or may not get him right away, have to wait and see again.

Speaking of vintage molds being used for new holiday horses, time to move onto the halloween horse. That is Beowulf!! He is on the semi-rearing mustang stallion mold which has been vintage for awhile now. I am a day late posting this, but there is now drama over him regarding his art design, at least the stencil/line work. I am not getting into that here, seen too much of it on social media and the discord group I'm on. It'll eventually sort itself out. All I will say is that my first tike seeing him I was excited as red is my second favorite color and wolves are my second fav animal outside of horses plus Is do like horror and halloween and its nice to see werewolves showcased. The semi rearing mustang mold has never officially had a holiday horse released on the mold. The closest to it was halloween inspired Frankenstein horse/green frankensteed which was a very limited release for an event. So it is very rare, theres also a mini stablemate of it which is also very rare. So its nice to see something more obtainable come on this mold. He also made it to my preorder list and hoping he looks great in person with his color shift. (again no drama over what will happen with this release, comments about it will be deleted and users blocked to not further cause negativity, just wait and see what will happen like everyone else.)

Then there are other releases like lets go riding sets, ornaments, barns, jumps, groom kits, and the next advent calendar. So far holding off on preordering the advent calendar as I want to see if the local sho pin the town I work i will get ti in as thats where I got the one for last year. That way I don't hav eco wait for shipping, in the past I've gotten them at the horse park but I no longer work there and can't get in for free and don't want to pay $5 ever time just to quick park and check both gift shops for the set if I'm not going there for another event (ie. Equitana, Land Rover Three Day Event, etc.)

Well it's getting late for me here at time of making this post and sending it out. So this will be it for now until Tuesday when I cover more Breyerfest reveals and another new reveals for the year i8s any come out between now and then.
