The Breyerfest 2026: Midsummer/Midsommar Celebration Horse has been revealed!!
Meet Corgi Hill Flinka!!!!
Corgi Hill Flinka is a 15 year old Norwegian Fjord mare. Flinka came into her owner, Alexandria Andrasko, life by chance in 2014. They found their niche in the show ring after some dabbling in show jumping and driving. Soon they started moving up the levels, showing you don't need to have long legs or be a flashy warmblood to perform upper level movements. At first, second, and third levels they have remained undefeated.
Flinka has made a name for herself at Midwestern shows and has also won multiple national championships, including the US National Pony Cup in fourth level and the Prix St. George. She has also come home with multiple FEI high point and breed awards and has helped Alexandria secure her USDF Bronze and Silver medals, and her Gold medal is in progress. They are currently competing at the intermediate levels and have their sights on the Grand Prix ring.
Flinka and Alexandria travel all over to participate in in various children's and adult's therapy sessions. Alexandria, the little fjord is a dream come true in more ways she could've imagined. Flinka is truly her heart horse and has shown her the impossible cane become possible through a lot of love, heart, work, and some sass.
Flinka's model!!
Corgi Hill Flinka is represented on the Norwegian Fjord Mare, aka Astrid, mold and sports her grey dun coat. The stock photos make her look more like a bay dun or cream dun, also called brown dun or brunblakk, but the in hand model in the video looks more like her real coat of grey dun. I love her and I am ecstatic that a fjord is the celebration horse and Breyer is representing more fjords, especially as a portrait model. I was really hoping for a fjord celebration horse rather than a mere guest horse, I feel we've had enough warmbloods as teh celebration horse and more representation of fjords by Breyer and making the spotlight on them was a must for me. I love her!! She's so cute!! Unfortunately for some reason people on social media have an issue with her, they claim all fjords look alike and she's too identical to Zorah Belle even though they and their models are vastly different if you really look. The stock photos of her models don't do her justice as when I first saw them I thought they made her coat too light but when I saw the video and in hand model it looked more like her coloring and shading. Also at the end of the day, as long as the owner is happy with the model of their horse that's all that matters. Regardless I am still very happy and am excited to get her and see her next year at Breyerfest. Also can't wait to see the rest of the Breyerfest models set to be revealed next year!!
