Newest Web Specials, Collector Club Appreciation Event Models, Breyerfest Prize Models!!

First Web Special of the Year was for the Exotic Destination Series which was...

Meet Prague!!

Prague is named after the capitol of the Czech Republic. This Prague is a Czech Warmblood on the Salinero mold (meaning there he goes again off the surprise horse guess list) and done in a dark dapple grey coat in a high gloss finish. He is gorgeous and I got lucky to be drawn for him!! Still have to get in hand photos of him, I sent him to my folks place and we've all been busy when it comes to in hand photos of models that arrive there.

Next is also from the Exotic Destination series which is...
Meet Mallorca!!
Mallorca is named for the golden sands of Mallorca, Spain. This Mallorca is a refined Andalusian stallion on the Duende/Spanish Stallion mold (meaning he too is off the surprise horse guess list) and sports a soft dapple buttermilk buckskin coat, he also has one blue eye!! He is so gorgeous and am really sad I was not chosen for him. Hopefully I can find him on the future for a decent price, especially close to his original offered price.

Most recently released for this series is...
Meet Machu Picchu!!

He is named for where the Peruvian Andes Mountains meet the Amazon Basin. This Machu Picchu is a Peruvian Paso stallion on the Peruvian Paso mold and done in a glossy metallic shaded dapple black coat. I'm pretty sure he was the sneak peak form the last Collector's Club newsletter. This guy is gorgeous and hooping I get chosen again this time around as I've gotten most of them already, only missing two or three at the moment, but the more I'm chosen for the better. Similar happened with the America the Beautiful Series and had worse luck with the Birds of a Feather series where I need to get more of them but some or so expensive due to popularity. Wish me luck on being drawn!!

April Fool's Day Raffle.
Meet Pal O Mine!!!
This was inspired by Breyer's mascot Pal O Mine who always appears at Breyerfest. This was after an April Fool's Day version of the model was revealed where it jokingly stated that Pal O Mine would have an official model added to the lineup to which then the following day this was revealed and stated to be a raffle with only 3 made and it was free to win. I of course entered, sadly not chosen and only saw one in hand photo of one which was cool. This version of Pal O Mine was made on the Nikolas mold and sports a shiny metallic palomino coat.
Custom version made solely for the April Fool's Day post. Kinda cut and looks most like teh mascot but sadly will sit in the vault with other never to be released models. Yes they raffle and auction off some but not all, I think there will always be some pieces they will never let go and others they decide are not worth keeping and let the public enjoy and create more room for other never to be released models.

The Collector Club Appreciation Event (CCA) recently happened and most of the models were pretty much the same as last time.
This years models were Quietway Spinabbey, Ideal Series Pony of the Americas, Atlanta, and Cossaco. The only one I would be interested in is Cossaco but I don't want to deal with trading and I don't have the money to spend on the event as always as I need to pay for other things at the moment. Maybe one day, have to wait and see.

Some of the prize model for Breyerfest have been revealed!! Let's take a look!!
Meet Szurkol!!
Szurkol is named after the Hungarian word for "cheers!" She is the Breyerfest Best Customs Grand Prize!! She is on the Shagya Arabian/Yasmin mold. She is a bright copper chestnut pinto!! She is gorgeous but sadly I am not entered in the contest and would have to hope I can get her in teh future for a song since not many are made.

Meet Skal!!
Skal is the Icelandic word for "cheers!" He is a splash copper chestnut on the Icelandic stablemate mold. He's cute but not my cup of tea. He is the Breyerfest Best Customs Reserve Prize.

That's all I have for now, see y'all in the next one!!!

Updated/Increased Prices for Breyerfest Models

Due to the US' increase on tariffs with other countries, especially China, this will lead into an increase on prices of things and model horses are one of them and they have already been implemented. This has affected the price of the Breyerfest models and this will mean they will have new prices Breyer will be charging instead of what they were listed for prior, however Breyer did state that those who selected models for their VIP tickets will not be affected by this as they have already been paid for. This will be for everyone else, especially All Access ticket holders. This list will show previous price and new price for all Breyerfest models.

Get This Party Started is now $75.00 from $70.00

Let The Good Times Roll is now $85.00 from $80.00

Good Times & Great Friends is now $90.00 from $85.00

To the Ties That Bind Us is now $78.00 from $75.00

Yolo is now $80.00 from $75.00

Seize the Day is now $90.00 from $85.00

Hats Off to You is now $75.00 from $70.00

Future is Bright is now $80.00 from $75.00

Life's a Journey is now $68.00 from $65.00

Belesema Sapphire is now $75.00 from $70.00

Halcyonia Night Life is now $80.00 from $75.00

Game Day Surprise is now $38.00 from $35.00

Beau 'N Arrow is now $85.00 from $80.00

Best of Breyerfest Series 6 is now $65.00 from $60.00

Hooplah is now $78.00 from $75.00

Shindig is now $16.00 from $15.00

Party Pal is now $21.00 from $20.00

Standing Ovation is now $55.00 from $50.00

So not too large of an increase, $5 at most though some only increased by $1 or $3, don't know why. Like I don't know if it was a production stand point, if it's offered online, how many were made or not, but definitely could've been a lot worse. I got 4 models with old prices with my VIP, was gonna do a second one but didn't get enough funds for it by the time they sold out, they were available for awhile but then Breyer just had to make an announcement about how many were left and they sold out by the end of that day. If they held off for one more day it would've been fine, better yet a week. Oh well, at least I got one so I got two All Access to make up for it. Whom I got with my VIP will be a surprise up until Breyerfest.

January, February, March, & April Newsletters, Valentines & Other Plushies!

 January:

January covers the new lineup of products for their 75th anniversary. It also covers the first of the Breyerfest reveals. Monthly spotlight is about Chris Hess and the 100+ molds he made for Breyer during his tenure. It also covers the first release of the Vintage Club which was Inferno on the traditional scale Black Stallion mold and was released with a copy of The Black Stallions Blood Bay colt form the Black Stallion series by Walter Farley.Which brings us to the giveaway, and speaking of The Black Stallion Series by Walter Farley, this month's giveaway is a copy of The Black Stallion book with the new classic scale version of the Black on the Malik mold. I do want this set eventually but gonna wait and skip this one, don't have room and got to prepare to move, afterwards I'll get it to make room for both book and model amongst my collection. I do have a copy of the book already, but it's older and can't be handled as much anymore. Sneak peak was for Fiona the St. Paddy's day plush, more on her and other plushes later in the post.

February:

February covers behind the scenes concept art as part of a monthly series to go over Breyer's history.

Concept art for Western Horse/Pony:

Concept art for porcelain Icelandic horse by Kathleen Moody:
"Courage" Concept art by Susan Carlton Sifton:
Silver concept art:
Tigerlily & Firestorm concept art:
This month's newsletter also covers Breyerfest guest horses, one of them being Danash's Northern Tempest aka Dani the Breyerfest Celebration Horse for 2021, I will have another post covering all of this year's Breyerfest guest horses, lots of surprises for them this year!! Then it talks about BreyerMidWest (that is not in the midwest) as was three weeks away from when the newsletter was released. There's also an article about the BreyerWest special runs through the years. This month's giveaway was a glossy version of Chardonnay from Breyerfest 2022. I also skipped this one as I have the original matte release from Breyerfest that year. Sneak peak was for Mallorca whom I will cover in another post later.

March:
This article goes over who won the essay contest from last year for mid year releases this year for the 75th anniversary, again those models will be covered in a separate post. It also covers the volunteer model as two of them have been revealed at Breyer(not so)MidWest but this year they seemed to have been renamed to be Breyer Ambassador Models. I'll also put those in another post. Breyerfest tickets also went on sale this month and all but VIP are still available as of me writing this post and releasing it. The next topic it covers is from the vault which is Just About Horses Sept/Oct issue from 2003. The giveaway is for the 85th Anniversary model for AQHA though I also skipped this one to get later. Sneak peek I believe was for the Collector Club classic scale gambler's choice exclusive model Rambler, at least for one of the variations as there is always three, and as you may have guessed he will also be in a separate post.

April:
First topic was about Rambler who was revealed and released around the end of the month. Next one is about Looking Back & moving forward, it covers more about the volunteer/ambassador model and reading it there is at least one interesting thing about him. Then Breyer shares the results of the coloring contest back around December as everyone had been awaiting the results. The feature story is about the small poodle, a vintage non-horse mold that has not made an appearance in years, I don't think it's been used since the first few Breyerfests. This month's Breyerfest is the first three releases of the 75th Anniversary exclusive models (the western horse, lonesome glory, and Esprit). Again I skipped it especially since I already preordered the Esprit and am waiting to get the others. Sneak peek I think was for the Collector Club appreciation event models, and I think the specific one was for Atlanta the Standardbred mare. Also again those model will be covered in another post.

New Plushies:
First is Smooch:
Smooch is this year's February/Valentine's Day plushy. He is white with a brown mane, tail, and hooves and covered in pink "kisses" with a red bowtie that also has kisses. He's kind of cute, but not for me so I skipped him.

Fiona:
Fiona is this year's March/St. Paddy's day plush. She has a white coat with a yellow mane and tail with green hooves with stripes and shamrocks on the underside to match her blanket. She also has little freckles on her face. I kinda like her, but not enough to get her so she's a skip for now, may try to get her later.

Flutter:
This year's April/Easter/Spring plush is Flutter. She's purple with a pink mane and tail with colorful butterflies and flowers and a little pink butterfly hair accessory. This one I had to get and am not disappointed. I think she's the prettiest one this year and is my fav out of all the spring plushies released so far.

Haley & Astro:
Haley & Astro are this year's mother & foal set duo for mother's day this year. They are Purple/pink with a hint of blue galaxy pattern. Haley has a pink and purple mane and tail and her colt Astro has a blue and purple mane and tail. I also got them as this shade of purple is really nice and I think they're cute. Though I feel is was a missed opportunity to name the foal Comet so their names together are named after Halley's Comet, oh well close enough and still space/galaxy themed.

That's it for now until the next one which I hope to have out tomorrow I may make a small post right after this but for the Breyerfest model increase due to the tariffs, but that'll be it. See y'all later!
