Newest Breyerfest Reveals!!

Breyer definitely surprised us when not only did they share a reveal on Sunday, the weekend, but by sharing that this release will not only be the classic scale/freedom scale for the year and it will be different than in the past, but this will be the fourth portrait model even though they have only showed two others before this and this is technically the third we have seen in the reveals. Part of the reason for the early reveal was because the horse was at a show where his model to honor him was announced to the public. Let's meet him!!

Game Day Surprise!!

In freestyle reining it combines precision and practicality of reining maneuvers with music and choreography, similarly to dressage but western style. It takes a special connection between horse and rider to harmoniously pull off these aspects. Sharee Schwartzenberger met Game Day Surprise, "Eli" as he is known around the barn, as a 2 year old. Eli is a 2008 gelding. Sharee knew there was something special about him. Eli was athletic and quick to learn, as well as very level headed, which were all the qualities Sharee was looking for in a horse. After some of their early of competitions, the two clicked. Some of Eli's competition lead him to titles such as top freestyle earner in the world, 2020 Ram Invitational Freestyle Champion, champion reserve titles of 2014, 2015, 2018, & 2024! Eli was born to be in the spotlight, his personality sure shows he knows it's game time!!
Eli & Sharee have not have had fun costumes, catchy music, and technical maneuvers for their performances, they've also done almost all of them bridle-less!! Spectators have been so marveled at their performances that they didn't even notice till the end there was no bridle!! Now let's move onto his model!

Game Day Surprise/Eli is done on the Slider/Hollywood Dun It mold. Believe it or not he is a buckskin which the Breyer did say the model sports. He is a dark buckskin, but is the darkest I've ever seen, I originally thought he was dark bay. The model also sports his small star and one of his costume fringe sashes that is blue & gold like Breyer's colors. He also sports the bran don his left side flank which I didn't notice at first but it's cool he has one!! Here's the link to the video at the end of the blog post: https://www.breyerhorses.com/blogs/breyerfest-blog/its-game-time
This guy is so cute! Kinda like the change for a portrait for the classic, also with how many decos they've done this year for other releases I get there may not be more they could do, plus Radiance does look like she could've been a Breyerfest model. I do like seeing more portrait models for Breyerfest too, they used to do only 2 then they upped it to 3 for the Breyerfest store. Having 4 for an anniversary year does help celebrate more horses and disciplines.  I am also still surprise this guy is Buckskin, I knew there were sooty/smutty variations like Palominos and they can get dark, but never this dark where they get mistaken for a different coat color. After some googling I did find a couple of horses that were similar looking to him and they had their color genetics panels listed as they were breeding stock. I'd be curious to see if Eli's is similar to theirs as there's only so much you can guess based off their pedigree. Anyway he is another I plan to get, can't wait to see who the 3rd portrait is though they'll be number 4 to be revealed.

Speaking of decos, next is the deco special run!!
Meet "To the Ties That Bind Us"!!
This one is named for the years Breyer has been creating to which in that time many people from all over the world have been collecting. To the Ties That Bind Us is done on the silver mold in a vintage Wedgewood blue snowcap appaloosa coat with the stencil cutout that has been seen on the other anniversary models for the year.
I really like him. It's nice to see a deco on silver again plus he's rarely used these days. Also lately if he is used for Breyerfest, it's mainly just for OOAKs for the live auction. I feel he's slightly over due for a special run/even exclusive model in the lineup. Last time he was used was for Rico in 2019. Also I think he'd look great next to my Liberty model, the blue denim and paisley deco from 2017.

Final portrait model is here!!
Meet Beau N' Arrows!!
Vaulting is described as gymnastics on horse back. Competitors can competes in pairs, teams, or even individually. Judging is based off ability to smoothly perform movements while also demonstrating flexibility, strength, balance, and artistic expression. Horses are an integral part of of the team as their constant gait remains smooth and ignore commotion around them.
Beau N' Arrow is a 17 year old Spotted Draft Horse gelding, who has all these qualities and more! He is an exemplary vaulting horse! Beau had arrived at Muddy Creek Vaulters with limited training, Trisha Bowman started training him as an all around riding horse then later introduced him to vaulting. For Beau, he took to walking and trotting on the lunge lead easily, but the canter proved more difficult for him. After years of getting used to cantering on the line, something finally clicked and he became comfortable. He has been the squad's best cantering horse since!! He's carried the squad to many a performance including the 2022 USEF/American Vaulting Association Nationals, and even claimed the title of USEF National High Point C-Squad Horse of the Year!!
Beau's model is done in his intricate chestnut overo pinto coat and is done in the loose mane & tail version of the Cleveland Bay mold. He is the final store special portrait model reveal, and the third for the traditional scale lineup.
He's very handsome. It's nice to see another intricate design on this mold again, the Rotating Draft surprise was the most intricate he has ever had. I'm definitely thinking of getting all the store special for this year so far. Plus you gotta remember I am a sucker for the flaxen chestnuts.

That's all for this one so It's not too long, planning to try to cover all the rest in the next one or it may have to be split into two more if too long. So with that being sad, see y'all later!!

More Reveals for Breyerfest 2025!! Tannenbaum Has Arrived!!

This reveal came later in the day than usual to where I thought there wasn't going to be one for the day which would be slightly odd as there wasn't one the day before it. I couldn't see Breyer only doing 3 for one week and leaving it till Friday before the weekend. Anyways, they are here and let's take a look.

(Covered arena hosting model shows, now they are at the Altech arena as live equitation takes place in the covered arena throughout the day all three days.)
Breyer talks about how throughout the 80s they had the "Signing Parties" where they'd travel to various retailers across the country. You had to sign up to attend these vents, at them you'd get a meal, ask questions, and talk with company executives. These helped paved the way for other events hosted by Breyer. The first Breyerfest was in 1990, and of course hosted at the Kentucky Horse Park, where around 1,000 people attended. The event was to celebrate Breyer's 40th anniversary and Dr. Peaches was chosen as the celebration horse. There you could have meet and greets with guest horses, meet artists and speakers, there was a benefit raffle, seminars, and a live auction.
(Dr. Peaches)
Over the 35 years of the events course, there are now special runs and limited edition/store special models, live equestrian demonstrations, workshops, seminars, activities in Celebration Park, model horse shows (4 of them), and the Celebration of Horses show. The Celebration Horse model used to be called the dinner raffle model as you could get it while attending the dinner, usually BBQ from what i've been told by older collectors who attended the first Breyerfests, also you could meet executives and get models signed there too. One I met remembers Peter Stone when he worked for Breyer and he would sometimes let you get a sneak peak of new models and other exclusive ones for the event. I love meeting with these older hobbyists and getting stories like this form them, wish I could've been born sooner to attend the start of Breyerfest. Also Dr. Peaches retired from three day eventing the same year he was the Celebration Horse, that partially may have been why he was chosen. All this reminiscing has lead Breyer to introducing and naming the next release from this history.
It's the mare & foal set!!
Meet "Good Times & Great Friends"!!
Good Times is on the Cantering Mustang Mare/Tigerlilly mold and Great Friends is on the Mustang Foal/Firestorm mold. Good Times is in a deliciously rich dappled bay with a star and three socks, while Great Friends is a very light chestnut with a star, a snip, and a sock and both are finished with a high gloss finish. So far quantities and prices have still yet to be announced along with the event exclusive models page. I'll make a separate post if and when those get released.
Anyways, I wasn't sure if they were going to do a mare & foal set this year. Usually most to almost all of the time they do but there have been times where they do not. Though I figured if they did it was more than likely going to be these two as they are the newest mare & foal pairing. When I first saw the foal I thought he was a palomino till I read the blog post, he is very light and I know they can be this light, especially in breeds like Haflingers and Belgians which are only chestnut in color, especially pale flaxen chestnut. So I guess this could mean these two could be paired with Bolero from last year as the mare & foal are meant to go with him, or even go with the bay Shelby or pinto flaxen chestnut Shelby from last year. Two bays can make chestnut if the gene that makes black, which is represented by "E", isn't passed down as chestnut is "e/e" and regardless of agouti ("A") is passed down or not as the result is red regardless. Real life example is Secretariat's two parents were bay, dark bay to be exact and he came out fiery red. Ever since I got these two, especially the mare in hand from last year's Premier Club, the more I fell in love with her and cannot wait for more releases on her. I will note I feel this releases mare's name is a little too close to the other special runs name, that being Let the Good Times Roll, like she could've had a long name like the rest. I suggest "Here For a Good Time" and the foal's "With Great Friends", but that's just me I guess. I do plan on getting them and I now think they are the most gorgeous releases so far.

Last but not least in Tannenbaum. She ended up being delayed and came day late due to the winter storm that came though earlier in the week. She was originally due to arrive Monday but came Tuesday, at least it was by a day and she's here safe now so that's all that matters. So let's see what variation I have received!!
I at least got my favorite, the red!! I was also slightly hoping to get a coal but oh well, maybe next time. I love this metallic red, almost like camdy apple red for muscle cars, kinda like my dad's Camaro. I wish my deco Speos was this shade vs the deep maroonish red, then I'd be more inclined to keep him and not use him with my gold pollock in hopes of trading for the Sunny deco on the SJW mold. Anyways She is slight more orangey on the one side due to their being more of the gold undertone than the red but that's ok, you may not look at that side very much anyways. She's got nice gold eyes to match!! I am very happy with her to say the least.

That's it for now, see y'all in the next one!!

Newest Breyerfest Reveals!!

There have been more reveals for the this year's Breyerfest lineup!! Let's take a look and meet them all!!

The first one that was revealed this week was the second special run.

Meet "Let the Good Times Roll"

Let the Good Times Roll is named for all the punches Breyer has rolled out over the years through the changes and going back over the good times over the years through their blog posts. From the first molds produced that were ground breaking and have become iconic, such as the fighting stallion and semi rearing mustang, the western horse and pony, and even misty and stormy. Breyer recounts the years have lead them to work with many amazing artists over the years such as Kathleen Moody, Susan Carlton Sifton, Brigitte Eberl, and more!!

Chris Hess was very prominent in Breyer's past for sculpting molds. There are many and they are still popular and used here and there for releases today.

Workers making Breyer's and ensuring their perfect for public consumption. Based off the photo quality and the way these women are dressed, I want to guess these are from the 70s.

Let the Good Times Roll is a sooty buckskin leopard appaloosa on the Show Jumping Warmblood mold!! He is also topped off with a delicious high gloss finish!! Breyer also noted that he is the loose mane and tail version of the mold, the way they pointed it out like that makes me wonder if this means he will not have a mane and tail variation split, or that he will and this is to lull us into a false sense of clarity on what to expect. I guess we'll just have to wait and see!! Anyways, I do really like him. I like his coat pattern better than most of the past versions that used this type of appaloosa coat. Also I am a sucker for sooty buckskins, hopefully most of you know that by now, but also the Show Jumping Warmblood is one of my favorite molds in terms of being in the top 10 I'd buy, collect, and conga. I also like that it lightly goes onto his face on the one side and I feel that isn't seen very often both in real life and the model world.  Plus his name is teh same as one of my favorite songs by the band, The Cars. If the releases keep being this good, it may be hard to choose what special runs I get as I can't get them all.

Second Store Special/Limited Edition has been revealed!!

Meet Halcyonia Night Life, aka "Ace"!!
Ace is owned by Emilia Quaggitto who wanted to change direction in the equine industry and she took a chance by purchasing a black Welsh Cob Section C as he had half of a blue eye (other half brown) in one photo. She usually wouldn't do so, but she had feeling about the gangly little colt was going to be special. So far, the 5 year old stallion has "aced" everything thrown at him. Ace first started out with driving and showing in-hand and once he was ready he started dressage training. As Ace's career grows, he has won top placings in Welsh breed shows in Canada & the US for in-hand, driving, and riding. He was the 2023 & 2024 USEF National Champion in Welsh Section C & D English Pleasure. In dressage, Ace has won many blue and red ribbons, scoring above 70%, Reserve Champion in the 4 year old futurity, and Reserve Champion stallion in the Open Sport Pony Breed show at the 2024 National Dressage Pony Cup.
He may be young but Ace has been proven to be very versatile. He's competed and placed in multiple disciplines against older and even bigger horses. Along with his winnings in the show ring, this young up and coming stallion also has a winning personality and temperament. Ace has been Westfalen approved and working towards other approvals as well!!
Ace's model is a handsome model in his delicious dappled black coat on the new Cantering Welsh Cob/Llywellyn mold. This is this year's second release on this mold and second portrait model, but the first as a limited edition. His model also sports his blaze, two hind socks, and half blue half brown eye on his left side!!
He is gorgeous!! Kinda surprised they are using this mold as not only is there now a regular run on it for this year, but he also was a raffle model for last year's Breyerfest. I guess he's been popular enough Breyer felt to use him again and add to the spoiling as it is their anniversary after all, plus the article was labeled as them having "an ace up our sleeves". I do want to get him as the real horse also looks very cute in person. I also love his half and half colored eye. I've only seen that in pintos, one of which had it in both eyes and it was the first time I had ever seen it. This was back when I used to take riding lessons and he was a lesson horse who at the time was slightly still in training. He was trained and safe to ride, it's just most of the lessons, especially overall beginners for little kids were western lessons and he didn't know how to neck rein yet so I rode him in a snaffle with the western bit. Anyways back to this guy, I wonder what causes the eyes two have two colors in one iris, especially since I think it only happens in horses, or that I know of. In human it's more complicated, especially the various shades of hazel. Ace will definitely be great to have in my welsh cob conga and overall collection lineup.

Again there's been mention of quantities or costs of each model. The event exclusive models page still isn't up either. Really hoping Breyer releases this soon so I can plan ahead for my VIP tickets. But anyway this is it for now till more releases are revealed so this doesn't get too long, plus this years special run posts are longer due to the more sentimental meaning and reasoning behind each model as Breyer tells their history. See y'all in the next one!!

First Breyerfest Reveals Are Here!!

It is time for Breyerfest models to be revealed in preparation or tickets to go on sale in February!! Let's take a look!!

Single Day Stablemates:

Meet Mimosa, Cava, Prosecco, and Bellini!!!

Mimosa:

Mimosa is done on the stablemate version of the Indian Pony mold. She is done in a gorgeous palomino pinto coat!! She is named after the alcoholic beverage that is made with champagne and fruit juice, traditionally orange juice and in my family sometimes an orange slice is added, blood orange is my fav. also this past Christmas I had two very small mimosa's while the family was over. One of the few alcoholic beverages I like and will drink.

Cava:
Cava is a handsome bay done on the Mirado mold, also known as the Cantering Andalusian mold. He also has a stripe and one sock. Cava is a type of sparkling wine that can be used instead of champagne and Prosecco. Honestly never heard of it till now till someone posted articles going over the beverages, this one was in a Martha Stewart article, mimosa was the only one I recognized but this makes sense as Breyer referred to this set as a bubbly group. It is made in Spain hence why he is an Andalusian.

Prosecco:
Prosecco is a rich black snowflake blanket appaloosa on the Augustus/Playful Draft Stallion mold. Prosecco is a sparkling white wine traditionally, oh well this guy's coloring is great and I'll pretend the spots are bubbles. It is made form Glera grapes in Italy.

Bellini:
Bellini is on the new Newport/Polo Pony mold in a handsome leopard appaloosa coat and the band sin his tail are Breyer's colors of blue and gold. Bellini is a cocktail made with Prosecco and peach puree.

I can't wait to get them in the VIP set!! I especially adore Mimosa as I am a sucker for palomino pintos as they aren't seen very often, especially not from Breyer.

Meet the first Special Run reveal!!
"Get This Party Started"!!
Get This Party started is a great way to start off the Breyerfest reveals! Her name comes from events Breyer would host at their headquarters for about 200 Just About Horses subscribers as they would have a party with a dance floor and dj with music. Those events are now the Collector Club Member exclusive events like Spurs & Spokes and Palm Trees & Ponies events form recent years, which is slightly fitting as Just About Horses is now only for Collector Club members to receive.
Get This Party Started is on the Connemara Mare, aka Croi, mold. She sports a stunning piebald (black & white) frame overo pinto coat. She even has blue eyes!! So far Breyer is off to a great start, and I am realluy thinking and feeling she is a must get for me at Breyerfest. I know there's still more to go but it feels hard to top her after this. My Connemara mare conga could use a new edition as it's been awhile, I think the most recent ones I got were when she was used for the Santa's Surprise a few years back.

We also got a reveal for the first Store Special/Limited Edition!! Let's meet her!!
"Belesema Sapphire"!!
Owner Meg Sleeper first met Belesema Sapphire, a chestnut Arabian mare, when her previous owner was no longer able to keep and take care of her. After a few months of training with the sensitive mare, Meg discovered she was very talented but also very herd bound and was lacking in confidence in herself and her rider which led to her acting out. This led Meg to decide it was best for Sapphire to only have one rider to build trust between each other. They went to work on solo trails and avoided group riders. This helped fortify a bond between them as well as a true team, now at 13 years old Sapphire is a force to be reckoned with and an endurance trail star! Sapphire's accomplishments include 1st place in the American Endurance Ride Conference's National 100 Mile Award and National Best Condition Award as well as 2023 Arabian Horse Association 100 Mile Award recipient.
Endurance riding is where a horse's ability to cover long distances over varying terrain, altitude, and weather is tested. It also tests the horse's fitness, stamina, and the connection between horse and rider.
Belesema Sapphire is portrayed on the Oasis version of the Arabian Mare mold, aka SJustadream. Her model also sports her rich chestnut coloring. Her red coloring matches well with a Padparadscha Sapphire making her a true gem.
I absolutely adore her. I am so glad this mold is being used again as it doesn't get used much anymore, and usually for limited edition/event models. Plus it's another chestnut on this mold next to SJustadream. My first Breyerfest was 2016 and this mold was used that year for Furano and that made me fall in love with this mold, SJustadream and other models on this mold I learned about later. I definitely will be getting her as I only have 2 on this mold, the formerly mentioned Furano and then Raia.

Princes and quantities haven't been listed yet. Maybe next week Breyer will have those listed and will launch the event exclusive models by then too. I will add those in later once those are announced. So with that being said. That is it for now, see y'all in the next one!!

2025 Regular Run Lineup!!

Happy New Year everyone!! The 2025 lineup is here!! They are also now available for preorder but will also be available all year. Let's take a look!!

75th Anniversary Sport Horse-25th Birthday:

This one had made an appearance before the leaks and official releases, I think it was in the winter catalog on reasons to join Breyer or at least some form of advertisement by Breyer, either way it got people very excited. I do remember when I first saw him he reminded me of an OOAK that was made for a Breyerfest live auction a long time ago, but it's cool to see Breyer went back to it plus there have a been a couple of customs like this made for people's personal collections that have been shared via social media posts the past couple of years. I do hope to be getting him at some point during the year.

75th Anniversary Spanish Horse-15th Birthday:
Somewhat my fear yet so glad they did, an Esprit!!!!! Of course I already preordered this one as I have to have him for my conga, that's two years in a row now and I am so happy about it! That now makes 12 for the conga I believe. He too has the horse silhouette pattern. That's all I have to say on him, for now.

75th Anniversary Western Horse-75th Birthday:
Of course Breyer used the mold that is their first and therefore their oldest mold, plus the one that started it all, the Western Horse!! Like the previous two he has the horse silhouette pattern, but for him it looks a lot more subtle. Like the appaloosa sport horse, I do plan to get him at some point during the year, also I'm sure they're going to be offered on Breyer's sure plus it doesn't list a limited pieces run number. I'm also sure Breyer will just make them as demanded until the end of the year. So far that leaves another 25th birthday and 20th birthday models to be revealed, we still have mid-years yet to be revealed later in the year, so I am assuming that's when they will appear.

Radiance:
Radiance is the classic/freedom scale decorator for the 75th Anniversary. She is on the new Arabian mare mold and is a clearware decorator with what I can tell is a frosty over coat with light silvery swirls. Breyer describes her as "sparkles with prismatic colors and a glittering teardrop rhinestone, embodying the brilliance and majesty of a diamond." I don't see the rhinestone in this picture, the only thing I can think of it's on her forehead like a star. Also with 75 meaning diamond, lot's of things are more than likely going to be silvery/frosty to mimics diamonds. She is pretty, and again will more than likely be one I get at some point during the year.

Below Radiance is the new Brilliance Gift Set. This set uses the Fireheart, Django/Standing Friesian, Othello, and Lipizanner/Darwin molds. It is said they represent the "4Cs" of diamond grading which are: cut, clarity, color, & carat. The Lipizanner looks to be silver, the Fireheart pearly, the Django is gold, and Othello is metallic blue. Slightly surprises no bronze type color, but then again I don't know how popular that color is for decorators. These little guys will also have to wait till later in the year for me to get.

Big Lex:
Big Lex is the nickname for the famous Thoroughbred Lexington. Legend has it he turned blue after a lifetime of living off the Kentucky Bluegrass. He more than likely didn't as even though there is a painting, and mostly paintings of him, there is at least one photograph of him alive and that was taken during his time hiding during the civil war, and he doesn't look like the old photo would've been able to pickup blue coloring in black and white and still looks like his bay coloring, but it's a fun story as his blue likeness is used in imagery all over the city of Lexington, especially by the Visit Lexington/Lexington Guest/Tourist services. Lexington was a son of the stallion Boston born in March of 1850, and was originally named Darley which he won his first few races under. His ownership was between two people, Warfield and Harry Lewis, the former being an ex-slave and because of this, Lexington mostly raced under the name and colors of Warfield as Lewis was mostly barred from races due to him being black. Lexington was later sold to Richard Ten Broeck who asked Warfield what price he'd put on him, once in Broeck's ownership he was renamed to Lexington in honor of his birth place. One of his most notable wins was the Phoenix Hotel Handicap in 1853, and many races back then were up to at least a grueling 4 miles. In present times that is unheard of and would be absurd, also many horses of that time ran up to over 100 times in their career, but Lexington only raced 7 which was very low back then, but now would be acceptable. Lexington retired from racing on account of poor eyesight which it was reported his sire Boston also had gone blind. When retired to stud he stood at two different farms. He first stood stud at Nantura Stock Farm in Midway, KY in 1855 till he was sold to Woodburn Stud in Spring Station, KY in 1858. Lexington was the leading North American Sire in 1861-1874 and then again in 1876-1878. In 1865-1868 his breeding book was restricted to private breeding. His most undefeated progeny are Asteroid and Norfolk. He also sired the 9 of the first 15 winners of the Traverse Stakes, which were won by sons and daughters by him. Lexington was even the sire of Cincinnati who was the favorite mount of Ulysses S. Grant during the civil war. He also sired Preakness who was the namesake for the Preakness Stakes, later his sons Tom Ochiltree, Shirely, & Duke of Magenta would go on to win the race in 1875, 1876, & 1878.  He would also sire two Kentucky Oaks winners, a Grand National winner, & 3 Belmont Stakes winners. During the Civil War Lexington had to be hidden away as he was summoned to be a mount as troops gathered as many able horses as possible. Not only was Lexington valuable, but at 15 years old he was already blind and deaf wouldn't be a serviceable mount anyway. In 2010 it was found he had a facial infection that had contributed to his blindness. Lexington passed away on July 1st, 1875. He was originally buried in a casket in front of the stables. in 1878 his bones were given to the Smithsonian Institution, then known as the U.S. National Museum, where a taxidermist assembled his skeleton for display. In 1999 he was apart of an exhibition for the stop watch which was said to be created to record his times in races. In 2010 he was moved to the International Museum of the Horse at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Ky. He still remains there to this day. Lexington still lives on in pedigrees today and was believed to be an influential broodmare sire. The Emerson/Standing Thoroughbred mold is fitting for him as it matches the pose in his paintings and he may have looked similarly when he was fit for racing. I too preordered him and should arrive with the Esprit, sorry this was long he has a very interesting history.

Below Lexington's picture is Surfer's Riptide. He is a Chincoteague Pony and is a favorite on the island. He was a buyback foal meaning he was purchased on Pony Penning Day to be released back into the wild. A portion of the proceeds from his models sales will go back Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Company and the Museum of Chincoteague. Riptide is on the new Welsh Pony mold.

AQHA 85th Anniversary Commemrative:
This one is similar to Bandera who was released in 2017 on the Geronimo mold but was a bronzy color with brands all over him. This one does not seem to have a name like Bandera not seem to have a limited quantity which Bandera was 5,000. I guess his coloring is also diamond which I guess 85 years can repeat for diamond year, though this one seems to feature more real brands, especially like the 4 Sixes, 6666, and with that it wouldn't surprise me if the Yellowstone's "Y Bar" made it on there as the Yellowstone show creator now owns the 6666 and seems to have made the show a real brand now. It may be on the side we can't see in the photo. This guy appears to be on the Ideal American Quarter Horse mold. He too will be gotten later in the year at some point.

Ideal Series-Buckskin:
Last year for the annual Ideal Series release, we had a Pony of the Americas which was a break in the usual Ideal Quarter Horse on the Geronimo mold and I wasn't sure if last year marked the end and being out of Quarter Horses. Shows I don't know much about Orren Mixer's work which all these Ideal Series horses are based off of as they come from his Ideal Series paintings. We see a return of the Ideal Series Geronimo and this time in buckskin!! He too made an appearance before the leaks and official release, he was seen wearing a tack set in the winter catalog and many didn't know if he'd be an official release or was an OOAK for the catalog as that has happened in the past. I am glad he's official as I really like him, and again I'm a total sucker for buckskins so he must join my herd and keep growing my Geronimo conga which is mostly made up of the Ideal Series horses. I also may have to look in the paintings now as I wonder if Breyer is going in chronological order of when the paintings were made and released.

Below that is a new long horn bull and it's been a long while since any non equine, especially bull/bovine has been released in the regular run lineup, especially in a traditional scale release. He does seem nice but I'm not fully into the not equine models so he will not be joining me anytime soon. That means there's at least one available to anyone who desires him.

Cloud:
There is a new Cloud release!! This is for his 30th birthday, though he has since passed, Cloud still has a lasting legacy today form the first time he appeared in his documentaries as a fresh foal to now with his offspring and grand-offspring still roaming the Pryor Mountains, wild and free as he and his ancestors were. This is the first traditional scale release of him since his first release in 2001 on the fighting stallion mold. I did acquire that version finally this past Breyerfest. This time Cloud is on the Desatado mold which also was used for a famous mustang, that was Picasso. Slightly surprised, yet a bit relieved the Fireheart mold wasn't used for him. I'm sure he'd look great on it but it has been over used lately as it is both a traditional scale mold and stablemate scale mold. Maybe for the 40th anniversary they can use him then as Fireheart will need a palomino release at some point.

Hope Horse:
This year's horse for hope is a camoe colored decorator on the American Saddlebred mold. I feel like sometime earlier last year he was shown somewhere but there was nothing explaining him and then he was just never talked about again. I could be wrong but upon seeing him he seemed a tad familiar. The camoe was chosen as the mission of hope also follows in equine assisted therapy which helps many, including veterans on their path of healing. At least $1 from each model that sells will be donated. He is now added to the list for getting a little later in the year, I have to save some models for Breyerfest, plus save some money for Breyerfest, especially VIP tickets and selections.

Deluxe Horse Collection:
The new deluxe set for the year features not only new models, but especially new molds as well. I still have to get the last set, but I am hoping to find one before I get this set. Though the horses in this set are absolutely gorgeous!! I especially love the fjord and the haflinger! There's also looks to be a mini Banks Vanilla on the mini Connemara Mare/Croi mold!!

Christmas in Bloom:
Another vintage mold is being used for the Christmas/holiday horse again!! A beautiful grey on the Flash mold. Can't wait to see him in person! If he's available early at Breyerfest I think I'll get him then!

Arachne:
The Halloween horse is here! This one is a spider/arachnid themed one on the Bobby Jo/Cutting Mare mold!! The spider appears with her appaloosa blanket as part of it's body. Some have complained you can't see the other 4 legs and this doesn't make it a true spider without 8 legs, but however I think both sides of the model are supposed to be mirrored so you can see one side of the spider on one side and then the other on the other. I still like it, besides I think it's look a little off if they did add the other 4 legs. Also of course as part of tradition, she flows in the dark for extra spooky effect!!

Ornaments:
For time and space I will quickly say I like the pinto and the unicorn Nalu, as his name is like teh male mermaid from Barbie Fairytopia & Barbie Mermadia.

Ornaments Cont.:
Really need the Lexington, Gypsy Vanner, & Stirrup ornaments!!

New Unicorn Stablemate Blind Bags:
Can't wait to see the chase pieces and get some for myself!!

Southwestern Holiday Set:
This one I think was revealed early as I haven't fully seen and preorders for him. This one seems cute and seems to be a new version of the one with girl and her palomino with a detachable unicorn horn. The horse appears to either be a silver buckskin, or more likely, a dunalino on the Galiceno mold.

Paddock Pal Painting Kits:
These are the original paddock pal molds and were popular for painting kits. These are the first in awhile they have been used, though they always seem to use these for a bay pinto and a bay shire/clydesdale, but you can make it anything you want. Just glad to see they made a return.

Glow in the Dark Stablemate Paint Kit:
These looks really cool, though you do have to keep enough white visible to be able to see the glow in the dark part. Though they still have the regular ones available as well as some new sun catcher ones. I'll just post the catalog link I found here: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/50cxfbps2zzs57zta9zrc/2025_Retail_Sales_Catalog_Single-page-spreads.pdf?rlkey=7non50j8xeuewm191vpbn94nz&e=4&st=zvqmafl6&dl=0
It also looks like new buttons and a poster will be available too. Hopefully I can get them at Breyerfest as not many dealers have them in person.

That's it for now, see y'all in the next one when I go over new Breyerfest reveals!!
(pictures and info belong to Breyer and original owners)
