Even More Breyerfest Releases!!

I'm back!! Sorry for the very long delay. I was hit with a mix of lack of motivation and having issues with my laptop which have been resolved for now so I can use it long enough till I can get a new one as this one is 6 years old. I could've done stuff on my iPad but I do no like using it to type, especially since the attachable keyboard no long works, and I don't want to download extra apps to access stuff better on my google drive. So let's get back into the groove and announce/reveal the rest of the Breyerfest exclusive models as Breyer is done doing so.

Meet the Best of Breyerfest Series 6!!

Every year since their inception, the Best of Breyerfest series makes a 5 pack stablemate set where each stablemate is based off past Breyerfest prize, volunteer, & raffle models. Let's take a look at this years lineup.
Meet Revelry!! Revelry is a mini version of Parfait who was the 2015 Volunteer Model. Both are done on a version of the Smart Chic Olena mold, Parfait was traditional scale and Revelry is of course on the Stablemate scale. Both sport a buckskin roan blanket appaloosa coat.
Meet Hullabaloo!! Hullabaloo is based off of C'est Bon who was the 2015 Early Bird raffle model. C'est Bon was on the Idocus mold and there were 3 made of him as the early was for those who got the early bird special deal on 3 day event tickets before the price went up later before Breyerfest. Breyer sadly did away with this in 2021 due to the pandemic. The VIP selection took place of this to an extent. This little guy is on the Standing Thoroughbred stablemate mold. Both a in a palomino sabino coat.
Meet Jubilation!! Little Jubilation is inspired by Truffles who was the 2015 Contest Prize model. Both are Fjords, though Truffles was on the traditional Norwegian Fjord mold that is also referred to as the Henry mold, Jubilation is on the new Norwegian Fjord Stallion mold which is also referred to as the Lyric mold for the stablemate lineup. Both share a dappled palomino tobiano coat.
Meet Soiree!! Soiree is the mini me of Creme de la Creme who was the 2015 Open Show Overall Champion Prize model!! Creme de la Creme was done on the Lady Phase mold, the long tail version, and Soiree is on the new Stock Horse Mare mold, sometimes called the Cassidy mold. Both sport a dapple rose grey coat.
Meet Red Letter Day!! Red Letter Day is a mini of Tout Suite who was the Open Show Reserve Prize model. Tout Suite was done on the Hackney mold and Red Letter Day is done on the American Saddlebred mold. Both share a dapple grey overo coat, Breyer even gave them both a green ribbon!!

Next we have...
Meet the Seize the Day Surprise!!!
Of course this is mostly a reveal for the logo and the name of the type of surprise. Could be a clue to the mold and deco but may not. Breyer did have a model called Carpe Diem on the Sherman Morgan mold that was a deco, Carpe diem meaning Seize the Day, and of course always reminds me of Dead Poets Society. Though I doubt it'll be Sherman Morgan as they never choose a vintage mold for the surprise. I did have a bit of a list for guesses for the surprise, but some of the latest reveals have made me have to change it as there would be no way those molds would be it now.

Next Special Run is...
Meet Yolo!!
So this guy was named after the Ponies & Palm Trees event which was taking place amidst hurricane season in Florida. Hurricane Nicole was a risk at the time. The event crew left early to set up the event at the location incase of how flights may have been impacted. So Yolo is for the chance Breyer took against dangerous weather. He is also done on the Gypsy Vanner version of the Brishen mold.
I do really like him. I love this mold and I think he looks handsome in this color. The only thing I don't like is his name. It's outdated slang and it was overused and way too popular for no good reason. I think he may be the only special run I'll rename or have an asterix by his name in my collection spread sheet. So the name doesn't deter me from being able to get him I'm just disappointed.

I'm gonna leave it there for this post. I'll most likely cover the rest tomorrow as I don't want this post to get too long. See y'all in the next one!!
